What's different about me?

I asked my mum what’s different with me

To be treated so differently

People either stop and stare

Or walk fast past without a glare

It really does get me down

That’s why I often have a frown

I do not walk like others can

If I could, I would have ran

Mum says its known as a disability

But she says its really a differ-ability

She says "you can do what they can, when sitting at your seat"

Yes, I can play the drums and create a booming beat

Another thing I am good at, is playing chess

And I’m really good, I must confess

I laugh at the same jokes

much the same as other folks

So please don’t judge me just upon my wheels

Don’t you forget, I get the feels

You can smile at me or say good day to you

But please don't ignore me like you do!
